Primary 1 and 2 (Ages 4-6)
In Foundation Stage we encourage our pupils to develop their natural abilities in all areas of school life and to take pride in their achievements.
Our experienced Foundation Stage teaching team combine a careful blend of Numeracy and Literacy with the other learning areas.
A wide choice of materials and teaching strategies enable each child to become confident, independent and secure in their abilities.
Each child is given the support they require to achieve fluency in reading, writing and mathematical skills. The work is often co-ordinated under historical, geographical and scientific themes such as ‘Night and Day’, ‘Dinosaurs’ and ‘People who help us’.
